existentialism

your name here

i liked the way the sun fell on the trees this morning as we drove down the highway, as if they were in the spotlight, the star of their own show. brilliantly dressed in white snow and ice, they sparkled and were finally worthy of a photograph. all summer long they sit ugly and dry, and once fall comes they lose all their dressings and stand skinny and fragile and ashamed of their appearance. but once the first snow falls and the cold freezes the rain on their branches they shine and its their time. i like to think trees have feelings too.

... ok, i was going to write something about suicide, and what i was thinking today about it... i had it all written out but some people would probably be offended. so i decided against it. just pretend i did.

sing me something soft, sad and delicate. or loud and out of key, sing me anything.
holy shit, existentialism on prom night, by straylight run, listen to it.
